A new project called THE VOID is a virtual reality gaming environment that may mark the future of entertainment which–for bad or for good–doesn’t involve a couch and potato chips. The startup–based in Salt Lake City, Utah–combines both physical and virtual elements into a single gaming platform. Players enter the game being placed in a specially constructed set and, when paired with a VR headset and vest that track a player’s movements, magic happens. You can cast spells, kill zombies, or avoid the alien anal probe in one of the several gaming themes that THE VOID can immerse you in. Check out the vid:
